Attorney Hoppes received his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in Business Management from York College of Pennsylvania. 

Born and raised in Tamaqua, he has been active in the community serving on the Board of Directors for Tamaqua 2004 and the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Schuylkill Leadership Association, and as Vice President of the Schuylkill County Young Republicans.
